Sunday, October 29th, 2017: Kick-Off Event / Skeet Shoot
Anyone interested in the Wild Game Dinner and possibly volunteering to help is invited to the DSWGD Kick-Off Event / Skeet Shoot on Sunday, October 29th from 1:00p to 5:00p at the new Hog Heaven located on Ranch Road 12 just south of Dripping Springs. There will be 5 Stand and Flurry shoots along with steel target shooting with .22 pistols. Enjoy food, fun, and fellowship while also learning more about how you can help with this year’s Wild Game Dinner.
- Bring personal ear & eye protection if you plan to shoot.
- .22 Steel Target Shoot: Guns and ammo provided.
- Skeet Shoot: Bring shotgun and ammo (7 1/2, 8, or 9 shot size only).

Friday, February 9th, 2018: Day before the Wild Game Dinner
Food prep day starts on Friday at 7:30am at the DSUMC Fellowship Hall with a big breakfast. Call in sick for the day and come join us prepare over 900 pounds of meat and other food for the day of the event. Don’t call, just show up and we will put you to work.
Saturday, February 10th, 2018: Day of the Wild Game Dinner
We will be meeting again on Saturday at 7:30am at the DSUMC Fellowship Hall for a breakfast hosted by United Methodist Men and a short devotional before the cooking day starts. It takes an army to pull off this event and we could certainly use your help.
